The AK-176M-MR-123-02/76 Artillery System is intended to engage sea, coastal, and aerial targets including low flying anti-ship missiles. The system is designed for arming small displacement ships.
It comprises the AK-176M Gun Mount, the MR-123-02/76 Fire Control Radar System, and the ammunition set.
The system features high survivability owing to autonomous use of the gun mount controlled from the optical sight in the absence of control from the radar system, as well as the capability of fire delivery, if there no power supply, large amount of ammunition ready for firing, high immunity to active and passive jamming, the surveillance and precise tracking channels, steady tracking of low flying small targets.
